Media Effectiveness Specialist

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience working on Media Effectiveness.
  • 2 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with other media effectiveness research methodologies, such as Attribution, Brand Measurement and MMM.
  • Experience running incrementality studies, both with in-platform studies (i.e. Conversion Lift) as bespoke solutions (Geo Experiments, CausalImpact, multi-cell designs, etc.).
  • Proficient understanding of statistics and its application to marketing.

As a key component of the Large Customer Sales (LCS) specialist organization, our team partners directly with business teams to develop, implement, and scale cutting-edge media effectiveness strategies. We function as trusted advisors and thought leaders, leveraging deep expertise and strategic thinking in specialized areas such as Marketing Mix Modeling, Attribution, Incrementality, and Brand Measurement, while maintaining a holistic view of the broader media effectiveness landscape.

More concretely, this cross-country team focuses on supporting large businesses in Scandinavia and Benelux by solving the most complex and transformational media effectiveness challenges, in close partnership with specialists focusing on Data & Measurement and Performance Marketing.

As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver transformational customer work on Google’s largest customers to help grow their media investments across Search, Display, Video, and App by proving the effectiveness of Google Media.
  • Develop the ecosystem by leading external trainings, events, and publications in selected topic areas (e.g.  holistic approaches to media effectiveness measurement and incrementality).
  • Represent Google's perspective on incrementality experiments to Google's largest clients.
  • Develop best practices for experimentation and trainings for sellers on priority areas with the goal to create structural capital and ensure accessibility of experiments. 
  • Ensure that all customers of Google have media effectiveness approaches that reflect best practices in place.
