Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
  • 4 years of experience designing and debugging databases, and writing SQL scripts.
  • Full-stack experience, coding for back-end and front-end.
  • Experience in two or more languages: Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python.
  • Experience doing demos and working in sprints delivering incremental end-user value in iterations.
  • Experience building web applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) .
  • Ability to integrate with third-party (3P) APIs.

The Learning and Development (L&D) Platforms team develops product and skills training for Google's internal teams, external partners, and clients worldwide. Our mission is to empower learners with the knowledge and tools they need to advocate growth and accelerate customer success. As part of the L&D Platforms team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, designing personalized, in-the-flow-of-work solutions that reach learners in the right moment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to understand challenges and translate them into effective solution designs, partnering with Product, UX, and other engineering teams.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to prototype web solutions, gather feedback, and iteratively refine requirements.
  • Develop, test, and monitor robust, scalable, and reliable web solutions that meet business needs. Leverage Google solutions and tools to create seamlessly integrated, reusable, and extensible systems.
  • Write and review technical documents (e.g., product, technical design, developer documentation) and code in TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, or SQL.
  • Implement innovative solutions utilizing AI APIs and agentic workflows to enhance product capabilities.
