Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in leading complex, technical projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and cloud-based technologies.
- Ability to lead end-to-end technical transformation initiatives, integrating systems and deploying proof-of-concept solutions.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation/requirements.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives (Director+).
About the job
The GOC Incubation team is at the forefront of operational innovation within Google Operations Center (GOC). We solve complex operational issues by incubating Google workflows and providing user-focused solutions. We partner with Product Area (PA) teams as strategic advisors, ensuring seamless transitions and empowering the GOC to achieve exceptional results at scale.
In this role, you will lead transformative strategic initiatives, driving operational efficiency and global process enhancements. You will architect impactful growth incubation programs, collaborating with product areas to translate business needs into actionable strategies and end-to-end process designs. You will ensure seamless handoffs and cross-functional alignment. You will establish foundational operational frameworks (technical) guaranteeing clarity and consistency across the global organization. You'll leverage technology to enhance efficiency and ensure sustained performance of new workflows within the GOC. You will drive innovation through technology evaluation, and deliver data-driven insights to measure effectiveness and anticipate trends, ultimately contributing to Google's operational excellence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and execute highly strategic growth incubation programs, working closely with various product areas and functions to translate business needs into comprehensive end-to-end process designs and actionable strategies.
- Lead operational efficiency improvements through collaborative innovation and global process enhancement.
- Plan complex project transitions from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth handoffs, clear milestones, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop and maintain meticulous documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job descriptions, process flow diagrams, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Identify and implement opportunities for process streamlining and automation. Provide comprehensive post-launch support, ensuring the sustained performance and success of new workflows within the Google Operations Center (GOC). Support workflow, drive tech innovation, and provide data-driven insights.
