Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 8 years of experience in software architecture, development of systems and algorithms in the network capacity forecasting and planning area.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to manage ambiguity of the problem space, requirement changes, and priority adjustments.
- Ability to manage without authority.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to construct, articulate, and defend simple and impactful messages/insights from analysis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Deliver cross-functional projects/programs with predictability and ensure they provide value to customers, manage software programs that include software components and algorithms used for network capacity forecasting and planning.
- Work with core engineering teams to develop and articulate long-term strategy and short-term plans, develop road-maps, engage teams and engineers, and set the pace for development.
- Align team members and stakeholders, communicate widely and transparently, keep stakeholders appraised of progress through periodic updates and checkpoints such as engineering reviews.
- Provide quantitative analysis to drive project delivery, technology reviews, guide technical proposals, and build consensus amongst cross-functional teams.
- Design and launch new processes, institute process improvements, help program teams scale, and improve Google’s ability to deliver network capacity on-time.
