Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or technical project management.
  • 5 years of experience in managing infrastructure environments with data center operations including Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Management Systems (PMS).
  • 3 years of experience in cybersecurity principles and practices within Operational Technology (OT) or industrial control systems including collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with security systems or a related field.
  • 5 years securing OT systems in critical infrastructure (e.g., data centers, energy, manufacturing) with automation.
  • Experience in creating Business and Product Requirements Documents (BRD and PRD) with developing or implementing vulnerability management programs, security patch management tooling, or OT incident response processes with network security monitoring, asset inventory tools, automation scripts or related technical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent program management skills with the ability of project delivery and investigative problem-solving.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The Compliance Security and Risk Management (CSRM) team physically protects the people and assets that operate and support Google's Data Centers and global critical infrastructure.

In this role, you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every fact of Google, including the creative process. You will help us identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and develop industry leading programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Identify, organize, and guide program activities and stakeholders to deliver measurable business, operational, and technical improvements in Data Center Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity.
  • Provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity for building management systems (BMS), power management systems (PMS), and data center operations.
  • Ensure the program elements are in line with the business risk appetite to develop and sustain programs for vulnerability management, incident response, network security monitoring, asset inventory management, and operational tooling enhancements.
  • Drive consensus among executive cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders to ensure alignment and program success.
