Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
- Experience in defining and launching successful cloud-based products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in computer science, or engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience defining and launching successful cloud-based products.
- Experience managing ISVs, partners and developing marketplace strategies.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, and infrastructure management.

Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) is a fully managed product portfolio that brings Google Cloud’s infrastructure and services closer to where customer data is being generated and consumed. GDC empowers customers to run Cloud Services in their own (or a partner) data center, or at the edge, alongside enterprise applications to support mission-critical use cases such as Google AI edge inferencing.
In this role, you will define and design GDC strategy, work with internal and external partners on technical requirements and deliver the right foundational platform capabilities for the distributed cloud. You will be collaborating with different product teams to build the right availability features at different layers including of the entire solution stack. You will be working with many teams inside Google Cloud and alongside some of the largest technology partners and customers in the world. You need to have a deep technology understanding, solution mindset, and work with various teams and functions. You grow in a rapidly evolving, continuously changing, accelerating growth environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive strategy, goal and execution of Marketplace and platform capabilities on Google Distributed Cloud.
- Define product and process requirements from understanding business needs and customer use cases.
- Drive internal and external teams for feature design at all layers of the service and accelerate deployments and business by partnering with account teams, customer engineering and solution teams.
- Partner with PMs/TPMs/TLs from other parts of Google Cloud to build the right solution and solve customer problems.
- Understand and enjoy the issues and opportunities associated with modern cloud architectures, technologies, application modernization, Hardware (HW), and Software (SW) total solutions.
