Field Sales Representative, Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software business, or consultative account management at a business-to-business (B2B) software company.
  • Experience promoting to Florida State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting transformative solutions across public sector.
  • Experience in AI transformation and Cloud solutions.
  • Experience aligning solutions to drive business outcomes for local government.
  • Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and discussions.
  • Experience growing existing customer base and acquiring new logos at scale, to increase spend and accelerate consumption business.
  • Experience working with customer engineers and customers technical leads to inventory software estate, define migration plans, and build migration business cases.

About the job

In this role, you will serve as the primary Field Sales Representative for the Florida Local Government market. You will collaborate with extended teams to devise strategies to acquire and expand key municipal and county segments, while educating prospective and current public sector clients on the opportunities to modernize constituent services and infrastructure. Operating at a executive level, you will serve as the primary architect for our partnerships with Florida’s cities, counties, and regional agencies. A central focus of this role is the building and stewardship of a premier regional showcase accounts, requiring you to navigate public sector ecosystems and align our technology with community-facing missions. You will balance high-level diplomacy with territory expansion across the Florida landscape.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the long-term growth and adoption strategy for a high-priority portfolio of Florida County and Municipal governments, focusing on major metropolitan hubs and regional districts.
  • Establish and maintain high-level partnerships with City/County Managers, Department Directors, and Agency CIOs to align our technology solutions with public service missions and community outcomes.
  • Navigate the complexities of Florida’s procurement requirements, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Orchestrate internal resources including business engineering, agreement desk, legal, and professional services to deliver multi-year agreements and public infrastructure deployments.
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities within the Florida Local market, specifically targeting digital transformation, public safety, and constituent engagement initiatives.
