Memory Market Intelligence Analyst

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, a related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience in market intelligence, financial analysis, or a related field within the semiconductor or technology industry.
  • Experience in building and utilizing financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis, and statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • Experience in memory (DRAM/NAND) market dynamics, cost structures, and supply chain.
  • Experience in supporting global contract management or procurement teams in price negotiations within the semiconductor industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in communicating with external analysts and research firms.
  • Ability to interpret data and deliver insights along with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across different teams and excellent collaboration skills.

As a Program Manager for Cloud Supply Chain Operations (CSCO), you will support the Google's technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing complex programs, defining requirements, managing project schedules and communicating to stakeholders. You will be accountable for delivery on behalf of CSCO's customers and users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain market intelligence on DRAM and NAND flash memory markets, including supply, demand, technology shifts, and market activities. Build financial models to forecast short-term and long-range memory pricing, incorporating various market factors and macroeconomic indicators.
  • Analyze datasets and translate findings into insights for internal stakeholders, including executive leadership and the Global Commodity Management (GCM) team. Provide market insights and analysis to support the GCM team in price negotiations with suppliers and customers.
  • Craft narratives and presentations to communicate market trends, price projections, potential risks and opportunities. Establish and maintain relationships with external market analysts and research firms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for decision-making.
  • Identify and monitor key market indicators, potential disruptions, and emerging trends. Generate reports and updates on market conditions and price forecasts for internal distribution.
