Customer Engineer, Google Cloud (Mandarin Chinese)

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience working in the technology industry.
- Experience planning infrastructure modernization as a technical consultant, technical pre-sales engineer, or enterprise architect.
- Experience with either public cloud, or private cloud, or hybrid cloud technology.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to engage and support Mandarin-speaking customers to navigate industry standards.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data centers consolidation, relocation, migration, or virtualization projects.
- Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
- Experience prospecting, and building and maintaining customer relationships from scratch, with excitement for building out Greenfield territories.
- Experience with AI/ML and Generative AI applications.
- Experience with private, hybrid, or public cloud technology, migrating operating systems or Linux, including virtualization (e.g., VMware).

As a Customer Engineer, you will work with the Sales team to introduce Google Cloud to customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve the business issues, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks.

Responsibilities
- Guide customers and peers to solve difficult problems with innovative solutions, leveraging an excellent set of technical competences.
- Manage the technical relationship with Google customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Recommend migration strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
