The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Serve as an infrastructure and product expert within the Cloud Capacity Management team, supporting the internal team on technical capacity requests from GCP’s existing and new customers.
- Drive Persistent Disk (PD) capacity planning for GCP, ensuring adequate management of existing resources, and planning for incremental resources for global deployments.
- Build partnerships with GCP Engineering, Product, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to better understand the technical stack in order to triage capacity requests and unblock GCP customers in a timely manner.
- Influence product design to ensure capacity requirements are taken into account through the product lifecycle.
- Define and tune automation, metrics, tools, processes, and policies to meet customer needs, while reducing inefficiency in the fleet and toil for all stakeholders.
