Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA/MS degree in Design, Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant fields.
  • At least 02 years of experience in Operations Program Manager (for electronic product manufacturing project) position and experience working with international OEM manufacturers and equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent track record of managing teams comprised of various specialists in order to achieve new product objectives inclusive of quality, yield, and cost.
  • Ability to attend in technical conversation in English or Mandarin.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As an Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary manufacturing interface for hardware products. You will work with Google’s engineering and product teams to drive product development builds and support ongoing changes to existing products. You will also lead a team to ensure products are designed and built to standards of functionality and quality. The New Product Introduction (NPI) team also defines sourcing strategy for products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with engineering teams during DVT/product verification test (PVT) phases of development and product introduction.
  • Provide single technical voice to product project teams after ramp; serve as technical lead in resolving complex issues and post ramp qualification activities during life of product.
  • Work with maintenance teams to identify manufacturing processes to meet yield targets and ensure product quality.
  • Manage large scope projects from design verification test (DVT) into ramp through to the project's end of life (EOL); provide technical assessment of existing or new manufacturers
