Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing partnerships.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Business Development Lead for Pixel, you will establish relationships with our Product and Engineering counterparts to drive business, product and partner strategy while cultivating and executing complex partnerships with major partners.

You will be the primary negotiator on global partner agreements as well as the go-to relationship manager for Pixel partners. You will be the subject matter expert on our agreements as you partner closely with cross-functional teams to proactively resolve business and technical issues, and identify new partnership and collaboration opportunities.

The role combines business development, partner management, strategy and day-to-day execution.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead business strategy for portfolio of Pixel product partnerships. 
  • Build, maintain, and evolve relationships with partners.
  • Negotiate agreements with executives level, and managing agreements throughout their life cycle.
    Communicate, collaborate and closely work with a broad range of constituents within Pixel including Product, Eng, Marketing, UX, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-Product Area teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final partnership recommendations to executive leaders.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership for Pixel programs and growth teams by helping to drive partner-related product strategy through partner feedback, market insights, and cross-functional considerations.
