Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in compete or market intelligence, sales strategy, sales enablement, or product marketing.
  • Experience in the Business-to-Business (B2B) public cloud industry with exposure to Security or Digital Sovereignty technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in business, strategy, STEM or equivalent.
  • Experience in synthesizing information from wide range of qualitative and quantitative sources to glean simplified insights that are actionable.
  • Experience developing and delivering comprehensive sales readiness materials and compete narrative assets.
  • Familiarity with relevant market players in the cloud industry.
  • Ability to convey insights in a compelling manner to executive audiences, both verbally and various written formats, including visual storytelling for data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communications skills, with high attention to detail and demonstrated project management experience driving large cross-functional working groups.

As Compete Insights Lead, you will have a high-visibility role, owning seller guidance for Security and Digital Sovereignty cloud technologies and supporting executive leadership in strategic decision making. You will build relationships of mutual trust and provide credible, timely and accurate insights to a broad set of stakeholders, tailored to the needs of each audience.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead a comprehensive research program to define engaged differentiation, identify market opportunities/threats and understand customer preference drivers.
  • Translate complex research findings into simple and digestible sales readiness assets, such as engaged battlecards, objection handling, etc., and own the narrative.
  • Nurture and elevate engaged confidence within the seller community through engaging actively, providing actionable guidance and building a live feedback loop.
  • Collaborate closely across sales, marketing and product teams to leverage existing insights, shape differentiation and ensure seller guidance messaging is consistent.
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of market dynamics and opportunities for the Security and Digital Sovereignty practice to provide clear analysis and thought leadership in executive forums. Support strategic decision making and GTM planning by building a robust but integrated market insights narrative covering customer, performer and partner lenses.
