- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience in mobile app development and API design.

We are looking for a full-stack engineer to join our Geo Question Answering (QAP) team.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner stakeholders to develop new features.
- Design, develop, and maintain the Question Answering Platform and the User Generated Content (UGC) surfaces that it powers.
- Develop solutions for ambiguous problems.
- Conduct code reviews, write documentation, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance the overall quality of the product.
- Stay informed with the latest trends and standard procedures in full stack development and bring new ideas to the team.
