Product Manager I, YouTube Ads Generative AI Creatives

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with ads across video, image, or audio creatives and formats.
  • Experience with setting or implementing policy, quality bar, or raters.
  • Experience with execution across cross-product area features for the entire product lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of AI capabilities (e.g., generative, LLM, etc.) with applications to visual/sound space.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and synthesize insights from research, market gaps, or technical insights, and build compelling product narratives.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will drive the strategy and collaboration across the team, and use knowledge in generative AI and automation to enhance creative generation and optimization, finding new ways to improve performance. You will work with product managers, engineers, and UX teams across different product areas and within YouTube Ads to ensure integration of YouTube Ads Creative Optimization products. Lead full-stack launches, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and foster partnerships for successful ad solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-product area collaboration for OKRs related to Video Localization (starting with dubbing).
  • Incubate and launch new applications with DeepMind that solve core Video Localization challenges (e.g., audio localization, text localization).
  • Drive and implement cross-application automation experiences to increase advertiser trust and adoption of AI-powered tools.
  • Develop and scale advertiser guidance initiatives.
