Product Technolgy Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, overcome complex challenges and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team.
  • Ability to navigate complex business organizations, manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders and consult optimal solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages to both technical and business audiences.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to establish technical road maps that accomplish our business objectives. Understand complex, ambiguous, open-ended business problems and produce an actionable, results-oriented strategy to solve those problems.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other Analytical teams to easily access data for operational reporting and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineers to enhance core platforms and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools.
  • Build and action product architectures and solution roadmaps, including the design of infrastructure necessary to support the business objectives of our stakeholders.
  • Create launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before broad-scale deployment. Perform implementation reviews, convert new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
