Supply and Demand Planning Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in supply chain operations, retail sector or consumer hardware.
  • 1 year of program management experience.
  • 1 year of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution in a new product introduction (NPI) role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in FMCG/Retail replenishment.
  • Experience with cross-functional partnership and change management.
  • Experience in running collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment processes with retailers, and managing regional sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out demand forecasting and inventory allocation throughout the product life cycle.
  • Experience in planning, demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
  • Excellent presentation, decision making, and strong critical thinking skills.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Develop supply and demand models to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining excellent service levels to customers. Lead cross-functional alignment on sales forecast and supply allocation.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales Operations, and Product Management teams to comprehend and influence demand. Drive consistently high levels of sell-in /sell-out forecast accuracy across retail partners and Google’s online channels.
  • Work in partnership with Sustaining Operations, Materials Management, and Global Commodity teams to set optimal build plans and transportation choices to meet targets and budgets.
  • Drive product success of metrics such as inventory, Excess and obsolescence (EandO), material spend, sales in and sales through, freight in, Cost of goods sold (COGS), and gross margins.
  • Support regional/global implementation of new planning systems/upgrades, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operational processes.
