Program Manager In-Region Learning Adoption

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of program management experience in an organization with implementing structure and process into new initiatives, departments or projects.
  • 5 years of experience in delivering projects, with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) and tight deadlines and limited resources.
  • 3 years of experience in developing, executing, and optimizing campaigns to drive goals.
  • Experience launching and managing education or development programs and campaigns.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with executive stakeholders, in and outside of Google, to achieve clear outcomes
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across organizational boundaries.
  • Understanding of the higher education system and public policy initiatives in JAPAC countries

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As the In-region Adoption Program Manager, you are integral to landing the go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud Learning developers and the future workforce in the JAPAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a JAPAC go-to-market strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Identify initiatives and work with cross-functional teams to launch campaigns. Build a talent pipeline across higher education and customer segments (startups, SMBs, public sector, enterprises).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program and campaign documentation (strategy briefs, plans, workflows, etc.).
  • Monitor program through data-driven insights, implement necessary adjustments, and create and deliver progress presentations to various stakeholders, ensuring communication of program updates to executive leadership.
  • Liaise with the government and higher education to establish learning partnerships. Supervise external vendors in their outreach and coordination efforts with educational institutions.
  • Manage a schedule encompassing both live and virtual engagement events. Foster and manage a volunteer "Learning Ambassadors" group to support initiatives.
