Strategy and Operations Associate, Google Cloud Data Analytics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
  • Experience in working with data to identify trends, patterns and to make recommendations in a client-facing environment.
  • Experience in networking and working cross-functionally with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a similar function (e.g., management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations/planning).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience with SQL and other database, scripting, or business intelligence, ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights, and strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of corporate finance or corporate strategy and different industries' business models.
  • Comfortable with high-growth, ambiguous situations, motivated to learn, and ability to work as part of a team of talented professionals.

As part of the EMEA Cloud StratOps team, you will be a key contributor to help grow and make the business successful. The EMEA Cloud Strategy & Sales Operations team provides business critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. Responsibilities

  • Drive regular governance activity, including Sales Forecast Calls, to ensure leadership is kept informed and well positioned to make appropriate investment decision for the business.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly business reviews, driving quantitative analysis to surface insights and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Run key business planning processes, including Quota Setting, Territory Planning, and HC Assignment, to ensure the business is set-up to be successful.
  • Lead a range of ad-hoc analyses to drive improvements across the business, deep-diving on topics such as sales productivity, pipeline generation, and agreement finalization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the Google Cloud organization, partnering with Sales, Support, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.
