Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with Sales Enablement or Channel Partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience developing training and enablement content.
  • Experience managing vendors (content vendors, localization vendors, etc).
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and content writing skills, with the ability to simplify topics.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, a program manager will join the commercialization and go-to-market team, responsible for the launch, landing, and growth of Beam while working in close partnership with internal teams including Product Manager, Technical Program Management, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, Channel along with external partners. You will be responsible for adapting to evolving responsibilities as the business grows, showing flexibility and openness to support various efforts. This role requires working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders in a ever changing environment.

Powered by realistic state-of-the-art 3D imaging and spatial audio and integrated with today’s leading remote video platforms, Google Beam enables you to be immersed in the moment, together. As a part of the Google Beam team, you'll work with incredible teammates across all major functions in a fast-paced product-oriented environment. Your contributions will have an impact on the future of communications with Google products. You will apply technology to solve that really important problem that we often want to be together and we can’t.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver optimized program communication plans, including executive and key partner communications.
  • Determine phasing and metrics for the program life-cycle to drive continuous improvement and resource stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) for near and long-term objectives.
  • Determine and collect data required to govern programs and effectively drive stakeholder decision-making.
  • Anticipate change management requirements required by program stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders by managing executive cross-functional expectations and ensuring they have the insights needed for effective decisions.
