As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Join us in establishing a new team in Warsaw dedicated to YouTube Ads planning strategy and products. We create experiences across tools and data, empowering advertisers and sales teams to plan and execute marketing strategies. You will have the opportunity to substantially impact business for YouTube and other Ads platforms (Search, Shopping, Apps, etc.).

Our focus is Insights, Benchmarks, and Narratives (IBN). These are key product areas aimed at generating business by arming the Google salesforce and external advertisers with pitch-narratives and ads-related benchmarks. This also provides automated pitching and reporting solutions to motivate advertisers to increase and shift ad budgets to Google. Benchmarks provides advertiser and industry comparison metrics, enabling informed marketing decisions. We believe high-quality, compliant, up-to-date, and consistent data, insights, and narratives are mission-critical.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

  • Review code developed by peers, providing feedback to ensure best practices in style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Manage the full production lifecycle, including monitoring, alerting, oncall rotations, and addressing user feedback. Triage, debug, and resolve system issues by analyzing their source and impact.
  • Mentor and ramp-up junior engineers as the team grows, while also contributing to and updating documentation and educational content based on product changes and user feedback.
