Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of technical or GTM planning experience in cloud infrastructure in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience delivering business or technical presentations to the C-Suite or board levels.
  • Experience delivering scaled GTM motions.
  • Ability to define/execute GTM processes, analytics, and reporting to scale the business.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience selling Cloud products.
  • Experience with content creation and narrative development.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud or IT technology space.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, import or export talent and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.

About the job

The Global Practice Architect is accountable for the strategy, construction and management of the plays they manage in their practice area. The goals of the Global Practice Architect function are to design and manage the constructions of plays that include a complete GTM bill of materials, as measured by reaching our growth goals for that practice (collection of products) in that fiscal year. The GTM bill of materials will include business assets, orchestration models, propensity modeling, field activation, offers and incentives, business value, partners and services strategy and more.

In this role, you will help drive goals, mission, and strategy around the Infrastructure GTM approach. You will orchestrate across numerous contributing teams including solutions, services, partners, product engineering, marketing, and GTM stakeholder organizations in Regional and Global teams, including peer Practice Architects supporting other products within the same practice area, to facilitate the successful design, implementation and refinement of the overall strategy. You will showcase leadership capabilities and thinking by designing and orchestrating the right model for Google Cloud’s objectives and the current market landscape. You will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to develop and iterate on the plan. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. You will also recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the construction and implementation of GTM infrastructure plays for the specific product portfolio.
  • Drive selection-making by leveraging analysis and insights, aligning project portfolios and Go-to-Market (GTM) plans with company strategy to achieve growth goals for infrastructure.
  • Support the design and implementation of integrated GTM infrastructure blueprints across the full ecosystem (industries, solutions, partnerships, services, enablement, compensation), collaborating with Practice Lead to balance efficiency and growth.
  • Oversee the GTM infrastructure portfolio, continuously monitoring business performance, diagnosing issues, and recommending new approaches based on results and data-motivated insights.
  • Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking to incorporate industry best practices, providing insights and recommendations to Practice Lead to inform alignment.
