Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in social and influencer marketing (e.g., owned, earned and paid).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in managing social and influencer marketing campaigns and integrated Go-To-Market plans within the APAC region (e.g., India, South Korea, Japan, or Indonesia and Southeast Asia).
- Knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem, creators, and culture.
- Ability to develop and operate paid social boosting programs and data-motivated influencer marketing programs.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional global organization, and manage external agencies and vendor budgets.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Indonesian fluently to interact within the APAC region.
About the job
In this role, you will own, define, and execute social and influencer marketing strategies that drive brand growth across South Korea, India, Japan, Indonesia and other markets. You will work with stakeholders across YouTube teams including Product Marketing, Go-To-Market, Legal, and Communications to design and deliver campaigns and editorial content for Creators, Shopping, and Reputation. You will lead cross-product paid social boosting efforts in partnership with Media teams, and own the Regional Influencer Marketing strategy, infrastructure and operation. You will use the expertise to oversee regional social activities, manage agency relationships, and serve as the lead for reviews and approvals for Japan and Korea.Know the user. Know the magic. - Develop social marketing strategy for YouTube across Asia-Pacific (APAC), ensuring execution and driving different business objectives.
- Lead social campaigns and editorial content for Creator, Shopping, and Reputation Product Areas, in partnership with local social marketing.
- Oversee paid social integration and influencer marketing strategy and operation for APAC, improving relationships with external agencies and vendors to enable marketing execution.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Go-To-Market, and global brand and social teams to align regional activities with business objectives and drive brand growth.
- Oversee reviews and approval processes for key markets, for Japan and Korea social marketing initiatives.
