Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Educational Psychology, Cognitive Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience as an instructor, professional educator (K-12 or higher education), or in curriculum/instructional design.
- Experience applying learning science or instructional design principles to the development of digital tools, features, or educational products.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in adult learning theory or learning sciences research, including literature reviews and insight synthesis.
- Experience developing or advising on educational technology products leveraging generative AI or adaptive learning.
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks or conducting efficacy studies to measure pedagogical impact.
- Experience consulting with product teams (e.g., Engineering, UX) on early-stage feature ideation and strategy.
- Experience coaching educators or designing professional development programs across various subjects and grade levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and program management to support educational product optimization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$133,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Consult with product development teams (including novel products) throughout the product development life cycle.
- Contribute to learning science team discussions and learning sessions about learning science principles, the future of learning, and how genAI can shape better outcomes for all learners.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the quality of genAI tools.
- Conduct literature reviews and share results of foundational research on best practices for learning.
