Leadership Program Manager, Data Center Construction

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 10 years of experience with dynamic technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data center or mission critical facilities.
  • 10 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, and infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems, with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.
  • Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of safety management best practices.
  • Knowledge of fast track design build processes and associated documents and agreements.

As a Data Center Construction Manager you will lead and manage our complex data center projects from design through commissioning. This role requires demonstrated experience in data center construction, exceptional leadership of project and engineering teams, and a knack for managing project timelines and budgets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional alignment efforts with other data center functions (Operations, Community Engagement, etc) and other partner teams (Network teams, Front End Planning, etc).
  • Drive improved workplace safety and culture to achieve performance.
  • Ensure budgets are in line with program expectations and align with funding disbursements.
  • Drive consistency across the program. Support the leadership objective of reshaping for accelerated operations. Contribute to the development of processes to enable rapid, scalable and efficient operational execution.
  • Maintain end-to-end responsibility from construction to deployment.
