Agency Lead, Large Customer Sales (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Portuguese to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in digital media buying, planning, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing
  • Experience in digital media buying, planning, business development, or digital marketing.
  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives, and managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Understanding of digital ads and digital content landscape.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.

We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute local agency strategy, including building relationships, leading business planning and reviews, and fostering collaboration with internal sales teams.
  • Drive business growth acceleration and product adoption by activating agreements, aligning business plans with sales teams, identifying new opportunities, and securing media briefs from agencies.
  • Lead agency ecosystem transformation by educating agencies on digital and AI advertising trends and Google solutions, consulting on their strategy and operations, and identifying capability needs.
  • Manage agency relationships by coordinating business activities, mapping contacts, and guiding conflict resolution between agencies and internal Google teams.
  • Promote Google's growth by ensuring agency awareness of relevant messages, facilitating participation in Google events, and influencing stakeholders beyond media buyers, including creatives and planners.
