Minimum qualifications:

- 9 years of experience in journalism, communications, content creation.
- Experience in the digital advertising and marketing industry.
- Experience producing written and video content.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance content creation and strategy.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a proven ability to translate insights into action.
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a focus on building strong relationships.

Google is at the forefront of a new era of advertising, enhanced by AI. We're looking for a passionate and creative Industry Thought Leadership Lead to join our Global Narratives team, where we design and tell the story of Google Ads to advertisers and marketers worldwide. The Narratives team is a global, multi-disciplinary group of strategists, writers, content marketers, and marketing managers. We collaborate to create compelling pieces of thought leadership for CMOs, aspiring CMOs, and marketing industry leads.
Responsibilities
- Follow and be fluent in industry trends and advancements in AI, marketing, and storytelling.
- Write compelling content (articles, white papers, video/podcast scripts, newsletter content) relevant for CMOs, marketing executives, and influencers.
- Partner with third-parties to commission and co-create thought leadership content (e.g., industry analysts/consultants, media outlets, industry influencers).
- Drive the creation of impactful stories across multiple channels, including thought leadership articles, videos, case studies, and other content formats.
- Partner with product and marketing teams to align messaging with product priorities and market trends, and with event and editorial teams to create engaging content for key events and integrated campaigns.
