As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Platforms Infrastructure Engineering (PIE) SW teams build system SW stacks (boot stack, firmware, kernel drivers, system control, management and monitoring SW) that power Google's compute, storage and ML fleet. PIE SW products provide the foundation critical to the functionality, performance and reliability of Google and Cloud services.
Platforms SW TPM team (part of PIE PMO) partners with PIE Software, other TI Engineering and Operations teams to deliver system SW stacks for a broad roadmap of systems, hardware and software products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead software development programs, including system software for NPIs (i.e. new data center products - servers, TPU, storage systems, machine monitoring/telemetry systems) and infrastructure SW programs focusing on improving software quality, efficiency and reliability of Google production fleet.
- Drive planning and execution of complex cross-functional programs with partners across Google.
- Provide TPM support for roadmap and resource planning.
- Use your technical knowledge and judgment to identify opportunities and drive initiatives to improve SW quality and velocity.
- Help drive 50% of SW development for specific NPIs (ML TPU systems), and 50% working on SW horizontal/reliability/quality initiatives.
