Analyst, Business Intelligence

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
  • 4 years of experience in SQL and data visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with data warehousing or data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python, or R).
  • Experience with translating business requirements to BI solutions.
  • Experience with explaining technical analysis to stakeholders.

About the job

In this role, you will be part of the Ads Martech team which is a cross-functional team building the best technology and user experience solutions to support marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Design business intelligence solutions and infrastructure to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval. Partner with upstream data providers to establish new source data pipelines and follow/improve local best practices.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, reports, queries, and dashboards, including designing and implementing specific features/components. Provide ongoing support for data users through maintenance.
  • Perform data analyses utilizing relevant tools and translate metrics/analysis into formats enabling supported teams to quickly and accurately measure performance and gain insights.
  • Plan and execute prioritized project work, including selecting appropriate methods. Coordinate timelines and goals for assigned components of a project.
  • Consult with users or cross-organization decision makers to identify data sources, required data elements, or data validation standards.
