Industry Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience in project and partnerships management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in Google Search/YouTube products in Marketing, Technology, AdTech industries.
  • Experience working on Google ads products, analysis including theoretical knowledge, implementation and analysis.
  • Experience with funnel optimization and conversion optimization with proven success cases that created bottom-line business impact.

In this role, you will conduct powerful partnerships that drive significant business growth and create lasting value.Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously focus on how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We help these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer business growth through partner ecosystem services and create opportunities for cross and up-selling.
  • Engage with customers, partners and sales team to deliver on sales opportunities and MCMs.
  • Consult partners and selected advertisers on capabilities needed for this transformation, train and grow the partner excellence.
  • Ensure service quality to partners with the internal and vendor teams, work on ongoing improvement of project management and establish scaleable service best practices
  • Co-ordinate cross-functional communication and planning with various teams in Google, contribute to product development and feature prioritization through your input and business rationale.
