Product Lead, Support

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • 3 years of experience as product owner and leading a development team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the support or customer service technology domain is a plus.
  • Experience in prioritizing features and managing product roadmaps.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and product backlogs.
  • Excellent technical aptitude skills with the ability to collaborate with engineers.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent Data-motivated mindset with focus on user experience and business outcomes.

In this role, you will deliver technology to YouTube Support, optimizing the systems that empower our global support communities, ensuring seamless, delightful experiences for millions of users to increase the loyalty of our users.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories, communicate progress along delivery.
  • Lead sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Ensure the development team understands the product goals.
  • Execute releases by working with stakeholders to provide documentation, training, troubleshooting, and support.
