  • Experience in development and implementation of planning systems and processes.

  • Knowledge of financial and cost accounting practices, sales and operations planning processes.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop short and long-term supply and demand models that seek to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining/improving service levels. Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models, processes and software tools) in evaluating supply chain’s ability to meet customer demand.
  • Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, reviewing supply, demand risks, mitigation options, or service level goals. Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs and optimize inventory levels while meeting customer service goals.
  • Present inventory recommendations to leadership, drive decision-making, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders across the supply chain.
  • Own safety stock optimization, inventory projections, metrics, and reporting for leadership reviews, including leading forums to discuss inventory initiatives and performance.
