Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership.
  • Ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business challenges.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will have the opportunity to contribute a shaping point of view on business strategy across products and industries, enable operations for our partnerships teams around the world, and help architect and drive key programs that deliver value for Google and its partners. You will work assessing and enabling the complex, sensitive, and visible cross-Google partnerships. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across a cross-Google partnerships team as well as different product and functional areas.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage core operational processes for partnerships team (e.g., OKR setting/reporting and opex management) and identify opportunities to streamline operational processes.
  • Inform leadership decisions regarding partner coverage and derive insights on partnership performance and impact by conducting analyses leveraging qualitative and quantitative data and maintaining tools and trackers.
  • Manage an evolving portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives that advance some of the company’s largest strategic partnerships, including AI adoption, cross-Google agreement making in partnership with a range of cross-functional and cross-product area stakeholders.
  • Act as a thought partner and strategic advisor for the team leadership on high-impact topics, driving critical analyses, and making recommendations on priorities and escalations.
  • Create clear, simple and persuasive internal communications, from influencing executive stakeholders to communicating priorities and driving a business cadence at scale with the team.
