Senior ThreatSpace Instructor, Mandiant (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in cybersecurity (e.g., threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, or identity and access management systems).
  • Experience delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions to combat public sector-focused threats.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to work with internal partners and customer teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of technologies used in penetration testing, security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, network and endpoint architecture, or other SecOps areas.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, operating system, and application vulnerabilities, security architecture, and controls.
  • Ability to successfully communicate (verbal and written) with clients in a concise manner while managing expectations at both executive and technical levels.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

In this role, you will be a key player in helping clients navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity risks, particularly as they undergo digital transformations and adopt new technologies. You will use your cybersecurity best practices, cloud security (specifically Google Cloud Platform), and emerging threats to provide expert guidance, lead consulting engagements, and conduct security assessments. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries, helping them build robust cybersecurity programs and defend against sophisticated attacks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on best practices for managing cybersecurity risks during digital transformation as organizations adopt cloud, DevOps, and new architecture frameworks such as containerization, microservices, and zero trust. 
  • Lead execution of consulting engagements, tabletop exercise cyber drills, and development of deliverables from start to finish, lead teams in analyzing requirements and work with other team members to produce prioritized results aligned to client needs and risk profile.
  • Conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to address cyber risk and provide clear and organized risk findings and recommendations to clients, include a report to executives following a ThreatSpace engagement evaluate communication, operational abilities, and use of intelligence.
  • Provide guidance on building or transforming cyber defense programs and capabilities, including incident and crisis management, threat hunting, threat intelligence, and detection engineering.
