  • Experience in Supply Chain Logistics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information System, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in supply chain logistics and Python, SQL, Big Query or AppsScript.
  • Experience translating findings into clear reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to deliver results against key operational metrics and KPI’s, and diagnose issues and drive corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.

The Google Cloud Logistics Insights team develops metrics and provides insights for the Google Cloud Logistics (GCL) under Google Cloud Supply Chain Organization (CSCO). The team supports the broader GCL organization by extracting, developing, and visualizing data across all global operations. The mission is to provide visibility and recommendations to operations on how to best service internal Google Cloud customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and structure logistics and supply chain data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality.
  • Define, track, and analyze supply chain metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory levels, transportation costs, demand forecast accuracy), identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct analysis to pinpoint the root causes of supply chain inefficiencies, issues, or cost drivers.
  • Develop models to enhance demand forecasting, optimize inventory allocation, improve route planning, or streamline other supply chain processes.
  • Partner with teams across logistics, procurement, sales, and operations to understand data needs and drive data-informed decision-making.
