Global Field Activation Lead III, Data, Google Cloud (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in sales operations, enablement, or in a customer facing role.
  • Experience delivering business and technical presentations to C-suite and board level audiences.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in scaled Go-to-Market (GTM) processes specifically within data and selling cloud products.
  • Experience with content creation and narrative development.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, import/export talent and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.
  • Ability to define/execute GTM processes, investigations, and reporting to scale the business.

About the job

As a Global Field Activation Lead for Google Cloud Go-To-Market (GTM), you will help drive the goal, mission, and strategy around GTM’s data activation strategy. You will enable all the roles for the data business play as they engage with customers and partners, and establish active communities, listening strategies, and feedback loops to fuel continuous iteration. You will partner with the field to implement changes that improve frontline productivity and drive customer success. You will be accountable for sourcing customer insights and channeling them back to the field to drive seller productivity, and quantifying field adoption through success metrics such as active opportunities, opportunity conversion rates, win rates, etc.


You will determine key focus areas to drive field activation and deliver programs designed to address noted skill gaps. You will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Learning and Development, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Partners and Sales. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. Finally, you will recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Business Enablement team to develop and execute programs to enable sellers to deliver on data business plays.
  • Provide feedback from the field and from customers to continuously improve and iterate on activation strategies in order to drive solutions and improve business performance.
  • Establish a mechanism for tracking seller engagement and agreement status as a result of business activation programs.
  • Work across partners in Learning and Enablement, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Strategy and Operations to help drive towards achieving business goals.
