Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in infrastructure work.
- 5 years of experience in leadership roles with direct reports.
- 4 years of experience managing technical projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- Experience leading programs that yielded significant, measurable improvements in velocity, efficiency, or quality and delivering infrastructure projects on accelerated timelines.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate across executive levels, and drive organizational improvement in a changing environment.
- Ability to build effective program teams, manage cross-organizational stakeholders, retain their trust through pivots and search in-depth technically as needed.
- Ability to distill technical concepts for executive audiences and build compelling narratives.
- Excellent communication skills.

Network Delivery Engineering (NDE) focus is translating Google's network innovations into tangible, global-scale reality. We are the bridge between new network product development and its successful deployment across Google's vast infrastructure. Our team is responsible for the processes, software, data models, and material specifications vital for the launch and ongoing operation of next-gen network products as the network scales. Our goal is to productionize by connecting the world with Google and to pioneer network delivery innovation.
As a Manager of Technical Program Management, you will be responsible for a team of technical program managers who orchestrate the delivery of Google's next-gen networking solutions.

From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to triple speed-to-market for networking products from concept to general availability, directly contributing to company objectives.
- Define and execute the goal, strategy, and roadmap for cross-functional technical programs, providing clear visibility into execution, dependencies, and risks.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs), fostering an environment that prioritizes psychological safety and sustained high performance.
- Partner with executive leadership, engineering, and product teams to align on goals, navigate trade-offs, and secure necessary resources. Establish governance for executive decision-making, resource allocation, and using deep technical experience to influence roadmaps and white papers.
- Establish governance structures, best practices and systems to drive efficiency and lead impactful organizational change initiatives.
