Group Product Manager, BigQuery Data Integration

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.
  • Understanding of SAP integration technologies and the SAP HANA ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, investigative, influencing, communication and presentation skills

The Google Cloud data integration team builds core data connections for businesses. They create systems that unify data sources, enabling information sharing. This work unlocks insights and automates processes. It empowers data-driven decisions and simplifies complex landscapes. You will enable real-time analytics and drive innovation.

In this role, you will drive the development of our Data integration strategy for BigQuery. This role requires a unique blend of deep data integration knowledge, expertise in data analytics, and proficiency with data platform architecture. You will be responsible for defining the product goal, roadmap, and execution for building seamless integrations with Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and leveraging data insights through BigQuery to enhance our product's value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the data integration landscape and identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate in the data integration space.
  • Gather insights into customer needs, pain points, and engaged offerings to inform product development.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into a prioritized roadmap of features and enhancements.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to define product specifications, user experience, and technical architecture.
  • Track key metrics and gather customer feedback to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
