Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in compliance, legal, or in a partnership management role.
  • 5 years of experience in agreements related roles in the media and entertainment industry.
  • Experience reviewing, writing or interpreting legal or policy documentation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with driving rigorous program management and accountability with executive leadership and stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Ability to identify opportunity areas then prioritize by leveraging input from cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to convey information in a timely, concise manner and work independently and in an organized manner without much administrative support.
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects in a rapidly changing environment under deadline pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and investigative skills.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and prioritization skills.

About the job

In this role, you will lead agreements compliance across key Media and Sports partners on YouTube. This role supports all cross-functional lines of business (i.e. YouTube TV, YouTube Primetime Channels, AVOD, TVOD, and Free Primetime Content). You will be highly organized, collaborative, and capable of integrating themselves into complex workflows. Additionally, they should be able to effectively synthesize complex topics, including contractual terms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Own the execution of contractual terms across top media and sports partners.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams - ie. Product, Marketing, Ops, Legal, to steer feature development within the bounds of partnership agreements.
  • Track contractual commitments, both on the partner side and internal, and proactively identify consistent themes and gaps across partnership arrangements.
  • Support legal and business development teams to identify levels of risk related to product and operational changes.
  • Develop briefing documents and executive presentations for C-level partner meetings.
