Head of Travel and Hospitality Industries, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in planning, business development, evaluating, incubating, and launching technology or innovations within a business.
  • Experience in the Travel or Hospitality industry, with an emphasis on technology and innovation.
  • Experience owning or influencing product roadmaps for consumer applications, e-commerce, data analytics, or technology solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation or programs in the Travel or Hospitality industry.
  • Experience managing C-level relationships in the Travel or Hospitality industry, or recognized as an industry leader.
  • Experience in performance with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in attention to detail, and being entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, highly collaborative, and understanding of Google products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with a critical set of Travel and Hospitality customers, influence and implement an account planning and go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud to drive significant business growth.
  • Influence and provide leadership to an outstanding commercial (i.e., client-facing) cross-functional team with impressive entrepreneurial skills honed in executive positions.
  • Orchestrate, with global alliance partners, teams for effective solution creation and serve as the industry liaison for other Google products.
  • Meet and exceed testing growth goals by establishing and expanding relationships with large customers and business partners, and delivering proof of concepts.
  • Contribute to the evolving Google Cloud business and product strategy.
