DV360 Media Sales Lead (Fixed-Term Contract)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.
  • Experience in working with programmatic media buying platforms (e.g. Demand Side Platform (DSPs))
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Google’s DV360 and Campaign Manager 360 and working with competitor media buying solutions; experience in programmatic sales of Connected TV (CTV) inventory
  • Experience working in ad sales on publisher or ad tech side or working in a marketing or media role at advertisers or media agencies
  • Experience crafting, activating, and growing strategic plans, grounded in innovative media solutions, that demonstrates clear ROI
  • Expertise in the evolving media landscape with deep knowledge of digital media, including key trends and dynamics in Germany, EMEA and the United States
  • Excellent relationship management skills

As a Display and Video Media Sales Lead, you will build sustainable relationships with advertisers and media agencies to help them achieve their business objective. In this role, you will drive business growth for media like Connected TV and other video, display, audio and digital out-of-home on Google’s Display and Video 360 (DV360) platform through a strategic and transformational sales approach working with senior advertiser and agency decision makers and media budget owners.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor for advertisers, agencies, and Google sales teams. Identify and capture unaddressed business opportunities for customers.
  • Drive media business growth for Connected TV and other video, display, audio, and digital out-of-home through media unification and AI-powered media solutions on DV360 across the plan-buy-measure media buying process.
  • Partner with DV360 Programmatic Account Managers to provide advertisers and agencies with media campaign solutions focused on maximizing access to inventory and buying types.
  • Craft compelling client and agency success stories and case studies, showcasing Google's value proposition. Represent Google as a thought leader on stages, delivering engaging presentations at industry flagship events, at Google events, and in other sales or educational formats.
  • Lead initiatives to develop and execute the team strategy. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Go-To-Market, Product, etc.) to achieve team-wide and organizational success
