Video Solutions Specialist, Large Customer Sales (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, strategy and operations, product marketing, or consulting.
  • Experience with media agencies, digital media solutions, or service delivery management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in brand solutions with the ability to build brands.
  • Experience in brand or performance marketing, engaged landscape, local market and other media.
  • Experience with YouTube and an understanding of core product features, how they fit into solutions and underlying product performance drivers.
  • Experience with Connected TV or any other video related experiences.
  • Ability to build advertiser-focused solutions.
  • Ability to manage complex customer relationships and drive growth with leadership and project management skills.

As a Video Solutions Expert, you will be responsible for managing the planning and delivery of video solutions for our customers. You will develop a technical understanding of Google’s video advertising solutions and maintain improvement through customized training programs, best-practice sharing with your peers, and by working closely with specialist product teams. You will also work with a broad range of internal teams to deliver solutions solving customer’s marketing objectives, and you will aim to provide people with experiences. You will be responsible for driving brand growth through your solution planning, designing quality video-centric media plans that deliver on our customers’ objectives. By providing our customers and agencies with insight on how our solutions impact their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) you will be able to play a crucial role in planning campaigns and helping our clients to make informed selections.


This role requires interactions in English and Japanese with local internal and external stakeholders.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the YouTube Ads business and set/execute a strategy on getting a budget and keep the YouTube content ecosystem running.
  • Drive the video product go-to-market plan for accounts with an understanding of both Video products and customer business needs.
  • Manage the translation of the video business plan into customized solutions to address business opportunities.
  • Support the account teams to translate customer business objectives and marketing objectives into video campaigns.
  • Be a thought leader in brand/video campaigns. Coordinate with Google’s customer solutions team and specialist community to stay up to date on your area of expertise.
