Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in architecting, deploying, and maintaining sophisticated infrastructure systems, with a keen eye for detail in debugging and optimization.

In this role, you will play a role in architecting and building the next-generation continuous integration systems that underpin the world's most popular operating system. You will gain an unparalleled, end-to-end understanding of Android's intricate continuous build and test workflows. You will design, develop, and deploy high-impact, large-scale services that power critical aspects of Android development. You will utilize and innovate internal tools to drive efficiency and accelerate progress. Additionally, you will significantly enhance the pace of innovation across the entire Android platform, from Automotive and TV to Wearables and emerging technologies.Android is Google’s open-source mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain highly scalable continuous integration (CI) infrastructure ensuring seamless Android builds and comprehensive test execution.
  • Architect and implement robust infrastructure services capable of effortlessly scaling with Android's expanding user base.
  • Develop and optimize AI-driven scheduling algorithms to maximize the efficiency and utilization of critical build and test resources.
  • Collaborate closely with Android EngProd teams, fostering a developer ecosystem that significantly enhances engineering productivity.
