Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in technical projects or program management.
- Experience in the construction industry, including conceptualizing, project planning, design development, and project management of corporate design/construction and in the design-build environment for mission critical facilities (e.g., data centers, pharma, industrial).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related commercial or technical field.
- Professional qualifications in cost, risk and contract management.
- Achieved or working towards Chartered/Professional status within a recognized professional institution.
- Recognized formal project management and program management qualifications.
- Achieved or working towards formal leadership and management certification within a recognized professional body.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.
As a highly motivated Regional Program Manager you will provide project management of large-scale data center Campus plans, utility and site/civil projects at multiple scales. In this role, you will manage complex schedules, budgets, and broad inter- dependencies.
Through a focus on business needs and front end planning, we will provide consistent and scalable project readiness support to enable execution and delivery success for our partner teams.

Responsibilities
- Be accountable for early stage project delivery - setting the conditions for successful data center construction and be a single point of contact for project-specific early stage program management in line with established project guardrails.
- Manage site-specific seed and campus development funding and manage architects, engineers, project controls vendors and contractors.
- Support the energy and location strategy team with technical constructability reviews. Establish project guardrail metrics to develop project capacity, resource, schedule, and cost plans.
- Provide technical and planning inputs for configuration decisions on all sites. Be accountable for project campus planning.
