About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

We prioritize security, efficiency, and reliability across everything we do - from developing our latest TPUs to running a global network, while driving towards shaping the future of hyperscale computing. Our global impact spans software and hardware, including Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, the leading AI platform for bringing Gemini models to enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of capacity planning activities for some of Google Cloud AI/ML product portfolios.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Technical Account Management and Operations to ensure a smooth transition for customers migrating workloads to Google Cloud.
  • Drive initiatives to design and implement capacity planning processes that drive improvements in performance, cost-effectiveness, and customer experience for enterprise products.
  • Analyze customer usage patterns and lead consensus demand planning processes with account teams to build long term demand forecasts that anticipate resource needs for long lead time products.
  • Lead capacity review meetings with stakeholders to communicate performance metrics, discuss future requirements, and align business objectives with technical capabilities.
