Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • 4 years of experience delivering analysis projects and working on open ended problems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Technology, Product Policy, Trust and Safety or related fields.
  • Experience in policy/program management, User and merchant experience, business strategy, or related fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate policy concepts.

We partner with teams across Google to deliver bold solutions in abuse areas such as malware, spam and account hijacking. A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders across Geo Engineering, Product and Operation teams globally to solve open ended, abuse problems for Maps.
  • Leverage LLM and Machine Learning technologies to build solutions for solving problems.
  • Conduct OSINT analysis, develop proactive monitoring, and error resolution to create well-defined processes.
  • Drive analysis, defining ways to optimize business performance and ensure execution within relevant function, or sub-function.
  • Manage project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation. Manage project work and lead working groups.
