Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in program management, client service or management consulting.
  • Experience applying cloud technologies to solve business issues within the manufacturing or automotive industries.
  • Experience designing and implementing machine learning architectures or data pipelines.
  • Experience identifying and developing business oppurtunities in technical sales or consulting, including identifying business and technical requirements, conducting full technical discovery, and architecting client solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, data analytics, Big Data and AI.
  • Experience with aspects of cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data), including the cloud market, engaged dynamics and customer buying.
  • Experience prospecting, building and maintaining customer relationships from scratch, for building Greenfield territories in Enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in understanding customer requirements with the ability to break down requirements and design technical architectures.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

The Google Cloud Customer Engineering team for Automotive and Manufacturing is dedicated to co-creating the future of these industries. In this role, you will partner with Germany's leading automotive and manufacturing companies, leveraging Google's cutting-edge data analytics and artificial intelligence technologies to solve their most complex issues.You will be a trusted advisor, working collaboratively to unlock new opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth, ultimately helping to build the smart factories and intelligent vehicles.

You will serve as a technical expert, proactive, and creative advisor, bringing energy and a business-oriented approach to every customer interaction. You will be a liaison between a customer’s business enthusiasm and the power of Google's technology. You will grow in this role by using your industry knowledge and technical expertise to proactively uncover opportunities and solve complex issues for Germany's leading automotive and manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers, becoming their trusted partner for all things cloud.
  • Guide the technical evaluation process, building proof-of-concept solutions to show how Google Cloud can solve key industry problems.
  • Lead technical presentations and workshops, demonstrating the value and innovation of Google Cloud's data and AI platforms.
  • Work with the sales team to understand the customer's issues and then design and present technical solutions to help them succeed.
  • Act as the customer's advocate, sharing their feedback with our product and engineering teams to help shape the future of Google Cloud technology.
