Country Operations Manager, Go-to-Market

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Hebrew fluently to communicate with Israeli based partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales or digital marketing, and in structuring and implementing initiatives with sales teams.
  • Ability to present to executive, business or highly technically oriented audiences.
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence, including the ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong communcation and people skills, with the ability to work across various functions and drive decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good networker and influencer skills.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As the Israel Country Operations Manager, you will closely partner with the Country Manager, the cross-functional leadership teams (e.g., Marketing, Comms, Public Affairs, Cloud, Legal, etc.) and GTM to drive velocity priorities and operations in accordance with the EMEA approach. You will navigate and partner with cross-functional senior level stakeholders and have a natural bias to action, being able to drive projects and initiatives forward in a structured manner. You will have the opportunity to shape the strategy for the market and the region. In this role, you will support the sales organization and enable successful delivery of the strategic plans by creating and managing a business rhythm that allows the management team to set the right aspiration and direction, track performance, identify shortfalls and opportunities, and execute main initiatives in the region.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business planning and strategy for Israel with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Government Affairs & Public Policy, Marketing, Comms, Legal, Cloud).
  • Shape go-to-market priorities to accelerate revenue growth and reputational prosperity.
  • Bring to market the next generation of Ads technology (i.e. from product readiness to deployment and market feedback).
  • Drive efficiency across our operations and commercialization processes.
