Strategic Partner Development Senior Associate, Android Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience with project management and analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple projects while working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Understanding the mobile operator world and related technologies.
  • Excellent partnership and collaboration skills to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and drive action internally.
  • Excellent consulting, people management and communications skills with a passion for development of business.
  • Excellent investigative skills, with the ability to take a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

About the job

As we build out our North American Carrier Partnerships Team, we have a unique opportunity for someone to co-own a set of prioritized business development initiatives to drive our user acquisition and business generation efforts.

In this role, you will work with our most strategic carrier and third-party ecosystem partners to build upon existing partnership foundations, while seeking out new business opportunities. You will be the primary point of contact for your projects and partnerships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, GTM, Finance, and Legal ensuring alignment on behalf of the North American Carriers Partnerships team.

You will represent our partnerships in these conversations, working with your counterparts to identify opportunities, work through hurdles to come to mutually beneficial solutions, and manage some of the aspects of the relationship from beginning to end in an effort to build strong, successful, long-term partnerships.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate innovative partnership opportunities across Google that drive Android distribution or Carrier business generation. Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to develop and execute new initiatives.
  • Support the administration and development of term sheets, new agreements, amendments, extensions, renewals, etc.
  • Project-managing technical integrations, in partnership with Android technical account managers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong direct relationships with existing partners, including developing knowledge of partner priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Occasional domestic travel for key partnership engagements.
