Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working with technical documentation of data center services, tools, and processes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in machine learning, building information modeling, facilities management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous environment, and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent presentation, influencing, and strategic thinking skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Digital Content Program Manager, you will be responsible for transforming and scaling next generation digital content for Google Data Center Operations and Maintenance. You'll work with the New Product Development (NPI) teams to ensure high quality technical documentation is delivered to the end users timely and in user friendly digital formats.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with data center end users (technicians, engineers, facilities managers) to identify needs and pain points with digital content utilization and user experience improvements.
  • Establish digital content, including system manuals, vendor training materials, warranties, and their related processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional data center partner teams to establish digital content related end-to-end processes, and roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure operations requirements are being addressed at the canonical product development stage. Review progress, and sign-off per acceptance criteria.
  • Develop workflows, means and methods to improve digital content utilization effectiveness and efficiency.
